The folks at Coach House Garages are happy to announce the winner of “Why I Love My Coach House Garages Contest.” First we would like to thank all the wonderful people that shared their stories with us. It was truly inspirational to all at Coach House to see how we had in some ways made life better for them. It is a privilege to be able to provide service to so many wonderful people.
The winners were Chris and Kathy Kresser. Congratulations to Chris and Kathy Kresser of Ballwin, MO for submitting the winning story. Thank you to the Kresser’s for the wonderful story that they shared with us.
It proved too difficult for the Coach House employee’s panel to pick the winning story; it was like picking one of our children over the other. So we asked four local citizens to help us out by judging the contest. The judge’s panel included a minister, a retired States Attorney, the Mayor of Arthur, and a U of I English professor.
During the first half of 2010 we received 98 entries to the contest, each a wonderful story. The judges’ voting was very close. We are thankful that so many took the time to share their story with us. In addition to the winning story, we have 10 runners- up that will receive a prize as well.
