Every Detail Was Taken Care
I retired five years ago, and my wife and I moved to Mattoon. We found the perfect house for sale just south of the airport. There was only one thing lacking. It had an attached 2 car garage, which was great for a couple of cars, but no extra space for a small shop and my 1953 Henry J Kaiser. I really needed a place to work on crafts and do mechanical work on my cars.
I checked into what was involved in building a garage myself, but decided to get some ideas from Coach House. Rick Otto came out to my house with his clipboard and tape measure and a head full of fantastic ideas. We came up with a plan and he crawled up in my attic and got the numbers from the leftover siding and roofing to make sure it would be a perfect match to our house. Every detail was taken care of from the beginning.
The concrete work was done in less than a week, and about 10 days later, Rick called and said a crew of guys would be at my house early the next day. When the crew arrived it was amazing to watch. I have never seen anything like the way these guys worked. I worked construction my whole life and to see the way everything went up was incredible to watch. In less than 6 hours they were done with the roofing, shingles, siding, and garage door. There was no trash on the ground, and inside the garage door was a sticker with the names of the craftsman who erected the garage. In another envelope was a packet of the guarantees for the whole garage.
Since the completion of my garage, I have had several people admire the workmanship of it and after a quick tour of the garage a couple of them also used Coach House for their builder. Word of mouth is still the best advertising and I help this locally-owned business every time I get chance. My only advice is to build it at least 50% bigger than you think you'll ever need, because it seems like mine filled up with stuff very quickly.
A buyer can start with high expectations and not be disappointed. I am still impressed with the whole process and would not hesitate to use Coach House in any future building.
