Vacation In Our Backyard

When the lot next door to us became available we took down the existing house and garage, because we wanted to put in flower gardens, and we needed a garage for storage so we contacted Maddox Garage Builders. We were impressed with everything they had to offer. They were prompt and they did amazing work.

The garage for storage turned into a vacation getaway for all year long. We had always wanted a sunroom, but there was no feasible way to attach one to our house, so the new garage gave us a way to have a sunroom. We use it year round because the garage and sunroom have radiant heat in the floor. We put a small kitchen and a bath in part of the garage. Then we attached the sunroom to the garage. This allows us to enjoy the summer flowers and the winter snow. We also enjoy watching the birds and squirrels.

We use the garage for making wine, crafts, playroom for the grandchildren and many other projects. We have most of our meals there because we enjoy the outdoor feeling. The only thing we don't do is sleep there (except for the naps). This has been one of the best investments we could have made because of all the pleasure it gives us. It allows us to vacation in our own backyard all year long!
